These terms apply to the Spin News app. By using it you accept them. They are short on purpose.
Spin News is a news reader. It collects headlines and short summaries from publishers’ own public feeds, groups stories covering the same event, and links out to the original articles. We are not the publisher of the news. We do not write it, we do not verify it, and we do not endorse it. Accuracy and opinion belong to the newsroom that published the piece.
The headline and the one-sentence summary you see on each card are generated by AI from the publisher’s own article, as is the note comparing how different newsrooms framed an event, and any translation. Generated text can be wrong or can miss nuance. Read the original article before relying on anything. The link is always one tap away.
You may read without one. If you create one, keep it to yourself, tell us if it is compromised, and do not impersonate anyone. You can delete it at any time from Settings → Privacy → “Delete my account”.
You are responsible for what you post. There is no tolerance for objectionable content. By posting you agree not to submit anything that is:
We moderate. Comments are screened automatically before they are stored; a comment reported by several readers is hidden at once; and we may remove any comment and suspend or terminate any account, without notice, for breaking these rules. You can report any comment and block any person from inside the app.
You keep ownership of what you write. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display it inside Spin News, for as long as you leave it up. Delete it, or delete your account, and that licence ends.
Spin News is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any story is accurate. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer in the EU.
We may change these terms; the date above will change with them, and material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes. You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks section 4.
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
